We Germans have a vice. And to the detriment of our health. (If load of vice?) This is the alcohol.
Knapp drink 13 liters of pure alcohol, we from our 15th Age per year. That's almost double the Size, pichelt worldwide average of anyone on the globe. The rest of the world, after all, limited to only about six liters.
But what are already 13 liters of pure alcohol at 365 days, which is the year. Well, just as much as the equivalent of about 270 liters of beer. I suppose everyone understands. Beer and alcohol is everyone's main supplier. There
a single stupid consolation from these figures it bad: Although we are far above average, but the peak is sad - yet - so far away: The is 56 liters of pure alcohol and is held by Bosnia-Herzegovina. (12 points!) Are the equivalent of 140 liters of the 40-percent liquor.
Die meisten dieser Menschen sterben from alcohol-related accidents, but also from cancer, cardiovascular disease or liver cirrhosis.
Again, there are clear differences between men and women. 6.2 percent of male deaths due to alcohol, among women only 1.1 percent. In Russia and neighboring countries as many as one in five men died from the effects of alcohol consumption.
In May 2010, WHO Member States adopted a strategy to tackle harmful alcohol consumption. These include taxation, which hinders access to alcohol. In addition, the number of possible outlets to be reduced significantly. Not least is the regulation or prohibition of alcohol advertising on the agenda.
We now have it: if we had held Mass, we would not be reprimanded in the future such as small children.
