stones, we come from. Today's trip went to the Hljóðaklettar, the echo rocks. The jumble of basalt rock.

11th July
Since we at Lake Myvatn, the midges, so like, we only have a small excursion in the area made. It went to the lava field Dimmugorgir, please do not confuse with the Norwegian band Dimmu Borgir. Although I now know where their names have her.
Dimmu Borgir means Dark Castles or Dark City.

12th July
We leave the Lake Myvatn and visit the Námafjall Hverir, Iceland's largest sulfur field. The scent has me very reminiscent of the chemistry class at school. So nose.
Weiter zum Leirhnjúkur. Der Vulkan ist noch aktiv, aber lieb gewesen und hat weder Asche noch sonstwas ausgespuckt.
Den Rest des Tages haben wir in Akureyri verbracht.
