Dagegen hilft sensomotorisches Training.

None of the participants had previously been on skates. A further eight seniors participated as controls in the course.
before and after a total of 13 sessions of 60 minutes took the sport's different from balance tests on the participants. They speak as the pressure distribution in the two-legged stance and on a force plate with and without the balance board (oh, that sounds pretty complicated). Then, the subjects also had on a platform suspended on four springs and are bipedal, disturbances and even sudden offset (displacement of 2.5 cm). Results: In the control group improved as expected, nothing in the training group, however, took the balance ability significantly.
And especially good: in those tests where the crash risk was particularly high, the participants were able to increase the most. The conclusion of Professor Dove: "This suggests that inline-trained people can counter better in everyday situations are likely to fall to the loss of balance than untrained persons of the same age."
Nobody gave
has been known for some time that the degenerative phenomena may counteract the neuromuscular and somatosensory system in old age with specific training. The organism
older People, like that of younger ones in a position to cope with challenging exercises. Nevertheless, the Swiss and German colleagues had actually expected that many of the participants would get in the intervention group because of excessive demands from the training. But that was not the case. Not one gave up. Perhaps it was also was the fact that all participating members of a senior sports group and were almost always quite fit. And on average, the participants were at best slightly overweight.
-line training - the sophisticated alternative
impressed by her good results, the authors emphasize, nevertheless, they do not want to give the impression In-line training that could be a general replacement for sensorimotor training for fall prevention. On the other hand, can skate very well but those (older) people who see a sensorimotor training too simple or boring to be a great, great alternative.
